ASAR 15 : Festival for Rice planting

Today, Asar 15 (june 29) is the day of climax of rice planting.

Almost all farmers take the day as the climax for rice cultivation. Farmer use to be very busy during the days for preparation and cultivation of rice. Rice is the major and stable food for Nepalese and other south Asian people. They use to be very busy.

Farmers consider the day as the day for growing quintle by planting kilos. People celebrate the day as the festival . They go to field, play with the mud and water, plant rice and eats the rice with yoghurt. Young and youth share the songs and love.
