CPN-Maoist has decided to field party chairman Prachanda in the up
coming election to Constituent Assembly (CA) from constituency No. 1 in Kathmandu and one more constituency having strong Maoist support base. This constituent has the pride of electing popular communist leader Madan Bhandari after the People's Movement I (2046 B.S.). That was great statement to Nepalese when the world renowned magazene compared him with the all time great philosopher Karl Marx.
The chief of Maoist foreign department C.P Gajurel made this revelation while talking to reporters in Sindhuli district where he is currently in to attend a festival. He said that he was also contesting from Sindhuli and one another constitueny. 35 Central Comittee members of NCP, Maoist will contests the CA elections. eting had decided on this matter, but refused to elaborate further on it.
Gajurel also said as per the decision of the CC meeting all Maoist central leaders would run for the election, majority of them from the
ir home-districts itself. He said that he is also contesting from his home-district Sindhuli.
While hinting at the possibility of forging a “working unity” with CPN-UML including other left parties in the run-up to the election, Gajurel said that even this doesn’t happen his party would secure a clear majority in more than eighty constituencies.

The Chairman Prachanda shouldnot be voted for the CA election for his inhumanity torture and killing of many innocent people. Let's hope this time again, the people of this destined constituency will teach him good lesson. He should be punished for deferring CA elections twice, and his inhumane behaviour like killing of many civilians. We lost many forester due to them. Few foresters such as Mr. Hem Raj K.C. (Salyan, Killed by Police), Bal Ram Bhushal (Chitwan, killed at Gam, Rolpa), Kul Bahadur Thapa (Rupandehi, killed at Parsa with 3 other foresters) lost their life due to maoist insurgency.
